TANDOORI CHICKEN SATE KEBAB


Serves - 2 persons Tips & hints Marinade the chicken cubes with Jimmy’s Saté Sauce direct from jar at least 2-3 hours or a day before cooking. Recipe Link: http://snip.ly/mh01v

Ingredients: 250g boneless and skinless chicken breast, cut into 2cm cubes, 2 tbsp Jimmy’s Saté Sauce, 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger, 1/2 tsp grated fresh garlic, 1 tsp tomato puree 1 tbsp plain yoghurt, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tbsp sunflower oil, 4 bamboo skewers

Method: 1. Use a large bowl to mix the chicken cubes with all the ingredients, ensure the marinaded mixtures are well mixed and the chicken cubes are all coated with the marinade. 2. Cover the bowl with clingfilm and refrigerate overnight or at least 2-3 hours. 3. Soak the bamboo skewers in cold water for 5 minutes before use to prevent meat sticking on the skewers. 4. Thread the chicken cubes on to the skewers. 5. Under a medium hot grill or on to a barbecue rack, grill the chicken 5 minutes on each side first, turn the skewers and repeat twice to make sure the chicken cubes are well cooked through. 6. Serve with basmati rice or chapatti and salad with yoghurt and mint sauce.
