Tofu with satay sauce - 沙爹豆腐
Ingredients:
1 tube of silken tofu (cut into chunks), 1/4 pound of ground pork, 1pc of green onion (sliced), 1 knob of ginger (grated), 1 clove of garlic (minced), 1 tbs of #myjimmysate, Vegetable oil, Garnish (Chopped cilantro)
Marinade for pork:
1 tbs of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sesame oil, 1 tbs of Chinese cooking wine, Ground white pepper, 1 tbs of cornstarch
Method:
1. Mix the pork with the marinade and set aside for fifteen minutes.
2. Heat some oil in a wok or frying pan and fry the green onions, ginger and garlic for a minute. Remove and set aside.
3. Add more oil to the wok, if necessary. Stir fry the pork until it is almost cooked.
4. Add the sate sauce, scallions, ginger and garlic. Stir fry for half a minute.
5. Add the tofu and mix together gently. Cook for a minute. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
6. Dish up.
